Collabora Online is now available as an ILIAS integration and work together nicely to be able to manage and edit office documents. Integrating ILIAS and Collabora Online is easy and doesn’t require anything more but a running ILIAS system and Collabora Online. We recommend a supported Collabora Online subscription.
Getting Started with the ILIAS and Collabora Online Integration

As the adminstrator of your ILIAS system, go to the Administration section, Third Party Software. There, in the Settings tab, select WOPI, click Activate WOPI and enter the WOPI discovery URL for Collabora Online.

Then after that in the Repository content, you can open any office document in an external editor:

You can then open the file in Collabora Online:
