The annual LibreOffice conference came to an end on Saturday after days of intensive planning, announcements, and presentations. We were proud to be Platinum Sponsors of the extremely well organised event, which included a Hack Night, professional training, tour of the city (including real bears!) and talks by leading LibreOffice developers, testers, and system integrators.
We took the opportunity to have a team day on Saturday and make the most of our international engineers sitting together in the same mountain-ringed room. Hacking naturally ensued, including fresh work on OpenGL support for OSX.
Of particular interest were presentations by representatives from the Brazilian and German public sectors, who explained their achievements and challenges during recent LibreOffice deployments. LibreOffice From Collabora was well represented by a variety of talks by our staff and partners.
Thanks to The Document Foundation, the University of Bern, and their respective teams for the months of planning and successful execution of a successful LibreOffice Conference 2014!
